One room will be available April 1st in a beautiful 3 bedroom apartment in the heart of the Mission. (24th Street)
The room has great windows, crown molding, high ceilings, and a large closet.
The place is a 3 bdr, top-floor apartment with hardwood floors, huge living room with windows from floor to ceiling, a dining area, kitchen, utility room, and backyard. It has tons of character (credenzas, chandeliers, fireplace/mantle) and gets great light.
The neighborhood is awesome. It's sunny, lively, close to BART and Muni lines, full of great shops and restaurants, etc.
We are two females, 25 and 27, and since we work M-F, we like to chill out during the week (cook dinner with friends, watch movies, hang out, etc.) and on the weekends we go to bars, explore, party, and dance. One of us works at UC Berkeley on a project for environmental politics and one works at a health department and will be attending Berkeley in the fall.
We would like to be friends with our roommates and create a warm living environment. We are both pretty neat and want to live with people who clean up after themselves and enjoy clean common areas. We would prefer the house to remain non-smoking indoors. We are fun and easy-going and would like to live with someone positive, considerate, and kind. Both of us enjoy a balance between work and play...we will definitely have some late nights out and will have out-of-town visitors, but will always try to be respectful of the needs of everyone in the house.
The apartment is really beautiful and has a lot of potential. We would really like to find someone who is interested in decorating and adding to it to create more of a cozy environment. (They don’t have to be expensive additions, but we want someone who would like to hunt through thrift stores to find furniture and would find it fun to paint a room, etc.) Basically we just want a fun, warm, and balanced atmosphere where everyone feels at home.
Water and trash are included in the rent, and we just pay for PG&E, SBC, and household supplies each month.
These are pictures from when we first moved in:
