Calm, orderly, clean, and respectful atmosphere that trys to be upscale without an antiseptic or forbidding ambiance. Looking for independent minded people who don't need their housemates to be their best friend, but at the same time are social and attentive to the needs of their little community.
Each room has hookups for phone, network for internet (or you could just use the wireless access), and digital cable.
Common areas are fully provisioned kitchen (gas stove for the chef, dishwasher, full size pantry, all the cookware we'll ever need...in my opinion this is the most important room in the house and I guarantee it's cleanliness), separate dining room, living room w/36" tube, laundry room (washer, two dryers), and backyard with sometimes hot tub and raised bed garden. It's a Vic so the ceilings are 11', windows 8' tall and lots of them. Never a claustrophobic moment. Plants everywhere.
Owner provides all paper towels, sponges, cleaning agents, gloves, mops, brooms, dish soap, toilet paper, dish towels, saran wrap, zip locks, tupperware...geez, I think I may even be forgetting something too!
This house has successfully accomodated both professionals and students at the same time.
