Tired of boring and cookie cutter apartments and run down houses with no style? Looking for someplace unique to live with friendly housemates?
Looking for a friendly, fun, easy going person to share a unique 1800 square foot 4 bedroom 2 bath Sunnyvale house. Ideally be non-smoker, around 25-37, social person, and who likes clean and clutter free common areas would be a good fit. Full time student or professional. Basically someone with a friendly, easy going personality and adds to the welcoming atmosphere of the household. We are looking for a female as a third roommate. Curently there are two of use living here- I'm a graphic designer, photographer and artist, the other guy is from Spain doing post-doc work at NASA related to the search for life on Mars. We are both easy going, fun people.
Here's the details of the place: the house is an Eichler, which is a cool and unique modern style single story with lots of huge floor to ceiling windows facing the backyard and atrium, open plan kitchen, large living and family room areas and an enclosed courtyard entry for even more room. Lots of open common area to hang out in. Newish extra large capacity washer and dryer indoors. It's very well kept house and has mostly hardwood floors. Large, sunny back yard with patio, and lawn perfect for just relaxing. New professional landscaping is coming in during December so an amazing yard is in store. House is currently fully furnished except for bedroom and now with a brand new hot tub.. There's also a hall closet and some garage space. More storage space and a bonus room/office will be available in a few months.
The room is about 11’x11’ with a 5' closet and a window facing East for morning sun. This room will share a gorgeous recently remodeled full bathroom with one other person. You get private and shared entrances.
High speed cable internet and expanded basic cable, a big screen TV that's great for movies. DVD player, VCR and a great stereo are also in the living room. Close freeway access (5 minutes) to highways 101, 280 or 85. A short walk right around the corner is Las Palmas - a large park that's great for picnics, tennis, baseball. Also down the street is a gravel 400 meter track, soccer field and free tennis courts at the Middle School. A huge 24 Hour fitness is within 10 minute walking distance- I walk there for yoga and workouts. Mostly it's a mellow place in a quiet and safe residential neighborhood. Easy street and driveway parking.
I have two cats. If that is a concern for you, I have had roommates with allergies that have been just fine in the house. They don't go in the rooms. One cat stays outdoors most of the time the other is outside part time. They have their own cat door. If you have a cat that can get along then that would be ok.
First months rent and security deposit required on move in. I'm looking for someone that want's to stay for at least one year. Past roommates have typically stayed for at least two years because of the great environment.
