ROOMS ARE CURRENTLY FURNISHED, BUT, could be emptied for your furniture. Downstairs household already has lots of furniture, kitchenware, cookware, etc., and all storage areas are filled (except as mentioned). If you have special cookware, we can work that out.
Renters will be sharing kitchen, laundry (trying to keep usage limited), large fenced yard, side porch, in a beautiful, rather spectacular and very rare setting, convenient location, on main bus routes, close to Seagate, lots more as you may read below.
Looking for long range tenants, prefer not to have temporary such as students. Scotts Valley is too far for most who attend UCSC or Cabrillo, but Bethany Bible College is nearby. Teachers and staff from any of the schools would be a better fit.
Currently in the household. Myself (Rowbear, older guy), downstairs, one great dog "Sweetie" a border collie, 10 year old boy on weekends (friends son who lives out back of house) and five chickens in their palace out back.

TWO ROOMS & PRIVATE BATH $650 per month
Please keep in mind that this is a very old house. Two rooms located upstairs (12 steps). Entrance is through the living room. The upstairs ceilings follow the roof line of the house with sloped ceiling. Upstairs rooms are cozy and quaint.
Rooms are not large rooms. One room is about 9'x12' has door into it with windows along one side, closet and small under rafters storage room. Currently has double bed (new last year), desk, dresser and shelving.
The other room is somewhat larger, at the top of stairs on the left, with no entry door, "L" shaped room, with twin bed, three small dressers, TV, small stereo, cable, phone outlet (for private line) and a non enclosed closet. Small but full PRIVATE BATH upstairs, old fashioned claw foot bathtub with shower attachment. Bathroom has slanted ceiling above tub so those over 5'-7" tend to shampoo the ceiling and are best to just use the tub.
UTILITIES are NORMALLY, $50-90+- BUT CURRENTLY HAVE BEEN MUCH HIGHER DUE TO COLD WEATHER AND PREVIOUS TENANTS USAGE OF ELECTRIC SPACE HEATERS.
Cable & option of DIGITAL CABLE box for: HBO, Encore, digital music, etc. ($10-30+/-
The upstairs has just been freshly painted, new carpet and new tile and new window in the bathroom.
