hi prospective roomate, I've got a room open less than 1 block away from north berkeley BART. Its on a very safe and quiet street in one of the best neighborhoods in berkeley. We're right next to a pretty big park, shopping, and everything else.
The building has just five units and all neighbors are nice and laid back. There is a laundry room on site. The unit has a small balcony/deck with a roof, decent sized kitchen with a nook, lots of windows. I have a portable dishwasher, barbque, microwave, TV, VCR,DVD/CD player with stereo sound in the livingroom that you are welcome to use. The common areas are fully furnished(although the funitures not much too look at), and the kitchen is bassicaly stocked. Comcast high speed internet is available via wireless router In every room in the apartment.And there is a free parking space available too.
A little about me I'm a full time bartender, late twenties, and I will be returning to berkeley to finish up my double major next fall. I'm easy going, like playing chess, waching movies, listening to music, and I keep telling myself I'm going to finish a screenplay that I've been working on forever.
