Hi! I am the current tenant occupying the room and will be moving out in 1 week!!! I'm looking for someone to take over the lease starting March 15th. The room is facing east with 3 large windows(lots of sunlight!) and has wood floors. Has a built in book shelve, compartments, 3 drawers for plenty of your belongings. THe room also has a dimmer light!! ooo fancy
I am sharing the rest of the house with 2 veryy sweet and very busy roomates (one male and female). Everybody here seems to be gone all the time so if you like the privacy and quiet then this place is ideal for you. The roomies are both in their early twenties, one is a CAL graduate and the other is a senior at CAL. There is also a washer dryer here and a garage that is being used for storage space. Free parking, no permit required. The utilities are split 3 way and there is wireless internet hookup via Comcast. The neighborhood is VERY quiet. The house on the corner of McGee and Carleton, 2 blocks west of MLK and 3 blocks south of Dwight. There is bus access on Dwight street and takes you straight to campus if you need to.
There are 2 sweet cats here that belong to the roomies. They are very docile and usually spend their time hanging out and napping on their beds in the laundry room. If you dont want them in their room you can close the door and they wont bug you.
The roomies prefer college students or someone that has a regular schedule/job. pets ok for the most part... since I was allowed to have 3 birds in my room.
Last few details: Security deposit is $600 so total move in cost is $900 (600+ half of one months rent $300....on April 1st another months rent is due $600). Since I am moving out 2 months prior to my contract, the lease actually goes from August-May. You have the choice of staying until the end of May, end of July or a full year. This is negotiable.
