Cozy and freshly remodeled, this 1920's garden-style Bungalow is just 7-doors from the first of several nearby beaches at Pleasure Point, Santa Cruz. Small view of ocean from front deck are perfect for watching the sailboats float by! Great location with over 10 restaurants with a 5-min stroll. Sleeps up to 6, but especially enjoyable for 1 or 2 couples, or families with kids. Enjoy the backyard’s new hot tub, stainless steel propane BBQ, and the Bungalow’s fireplace with free firewood, Stereo, Cable TV, 100’s of Videos and DVDs and an automated Shiatsu-Massage chair. The large kitchen has almost everything you would want in a kitchen including a gas stove, microwave, 2 complete sets of dishes, gourmet cooking utensils, bread maker, juicer, ice cream maker, etc. There is also a desk with DSL cable or wireless DSL Internet access for emails & web information when you bring your laptop.
This open-architecture style home, which means the person cooking can visit with the guests in the Living Room area. It has a queen Murphy bed in the bedroom area with a blue velvet privacy curtain, a queen innerspring futon in the living room area with another blue velvet privacy curtain, and up to four adult-sized twin cots available to set up in front of the fireplace for a total of 6 overnight guests. There is one inside door in the Bungalow and that’s on the bathroom. There is also a utility area with washer & dryer.
Use our 6+ bikes to ride 10 minutes to the south, to the village of Capitola with its large beach complete with volleyball courts, tennis courts, seaside restaurants, and fun shops. To the north is the world-famous Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk with the West coast's famous wooden roller coaster and FREE world-class entertainers concerts on Friday nights during the summer. We have Morey Boogie boards and a couple of surfboards and some wetsuits of various sizes - or you may rent your choice at nearby surf shops. We have very productive lime and lemon trees in the backyard garden which will add to your enjoyment of fresh citrus year-round, and a good apple tree for Fall. Pets Friendly with a fully enclosed back yard and outdoor shower for easy sand removal. Also there are two-off street parking spaces off the private alley in the back.
