Toyota Pick up Truck - CLEAN- Lots of new parts ~Mechanics $pecial

1983 Toyota Longbed 5 speed Pick Up Truck ! Nice ,Clean ,Original paint truck ! 2 owners, garaged, , 220K, with the famous 22R engine 1979 to early 1984 WERE the BEST years for Toyota Trucks ! Due to a horse trailer backed into it it now has ALL NEW : Hood, LF fender, Bumper, Headlights, Radiator,Coolant, Interior light, signal bulbs, Thermostat, Fan clutch, Brakes, Battery, Oil change and filter. I have the / a perfect; grille, Headlight doors, etc ,not pictured . JUST Replaced; Tailights, Repacked front inner and outer wheel bearings, All fees paid/DMV Non-Op'ed, You Smog, sold as is...NOTE: Needs a rod bearing / runs /has Rod Knock,and should be towed to it's next/new home and be repaired(NOTE: If you DO NOT KNOW WHAT THIS MEANS , DO NOT RESPOND and waste our time ).Here's all the options to repair it ! THE easiest thing to do: Just toss in a used engine from "Japan Only" in SSF 650-871-9191 and you're off... OR.. (read on~!)
1. Our mechanic says for $400ish to $500 , the engine oil pan could be removed and the crank and bearings inspected and most likely changed at this point,but trying to run and drive the truck as is will cause serious engine damage. 2. There are many engines RIGHT now in the Craigslist Auto parts section for as little as $300 !and a NEW one for $500. OR you can get a NEW engine(this one or an exchange for this one!) for $1000 out of the Pacific Northwest at Oregon Engine in Sandy Oregon. ( And no , not some junk rebuild from Taiwan-They do it /yours or offer a exchange but this truck has a virgin engine and I'd do this one !) That 's right, a complete Long block ! 3.OR if you can spin wrenches, and have a place to do it(which is MY problem/why it's for sale) Here's a Quality rebuild kit , complete with; cam , pistons, bearings, freeze plugs, gasket etc. etc. etc. at Nothern Auto Parts . com for only $375ish !
